 a great opportunity for community engagement\, but they also require prope
 r planning and food safety practices to ensure vendors can safely prepare 
 and serve food. This presentation will cover local requirements for tempor
 ary food vendors\, along with key food safety practices for outdoor events
 \, including proper handwashing\, temperature control\, safe food handling
 \, and common compliance issues. Whether you are a first time vendor or an
  experienced food vendor\, attendees will leave with a better understandin
 g of the requirements and best practices needed to safely and successfully
  operate a temporary food establishment. About the speaker: Sarah Pozzi ha
 s spent the past seven years working in environmental health\, combining h
 er passion for public health with a love of teaching. As an Environmental 
 Health Training Specialist with Peoria City/County Health Department\, she
  enjoys developing practical\, engaging trainings that give both environme
 ntal health professionals and community members the knowledge to protect a
 nd improve public health. Sarah believes the environment plays a vital rol
 e in the health of our communities and is passionate about making complex
