Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute

The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute provides integrated, family-oriented care, treatment and education for individuals with bleeding, blood clotting and other blood disorders. As the only federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center in Illinois outside of Chicago, BCDI strives to deliver exceptional care for each person served. Founded in 2010, BCDI offers comprehensive care to help treat the whole person and the family, including physically, mentally and emotionally. BCDI's board-certified hematologists and clinical care team are highly trained in treating patients of all ages- pediatric to geriatric- with non-cancerous blood conditions. As a part of the comprehensive care model, patients see a full team of specialists including a hematologist, advanced practice provider, nurses, physical therapist, registered dietitian, medical social work and more, plus have support of BCDI's on-site laboratory and infusion suite, research department and pharmacy services.
